Santagato Studios Design Proposal
I created a few different logo designs for Santagato Studios! I included a description- including the inspiration/execution of said designs! I also have several merch designs inspired by prior Santagato Studios YouTube videos that are described at the bottom! Thank you for viewing my application and designs and I hope to hear from you!

This design includes a hanging lightbulb with a long pull chain. Inside the lightbulb is an S that is doubled and skewed.
The inspiration behind this design is the idea of how Joe started his creative journey that- through time- morphed into what is now known as Santagato Studios in his mom's basement. I imagine a small enclosed basement with a light such as this one could represent that basement where everything started. I also see Santagato Studios as an umbrella encompassing all its accompanying channels. That being said, it seems like a light that casts over the other channels as a hub and place to come back to. It is the overall light that calls people to all the media it has to offer!

This design includes a bunch of polygon shapes that form together with some negative space running between them. The designs were based on the ariel view of a city. Being that the channel and its joining parts take place in NYC, I thought it could be an excellent way to have an urban, but minimalist logo to reflect the channel. I thought that the colors included could be used for other parts of the overall identity of the channel (of course those colors can change if y'all had different ones in mind!) I also thought that the interlocking shapes could be utilized in other small ways like on the channel banner or be broken up to accent an Instagram post or something like that! I also thought it could be paired in another design as well- that it doesn't have to be the stand-alone design, but could accent another!

These three designs are all different variations of this TV idea. The designs include an old '90s box TV with the iconic Stanagato Studios blue colors seen in the background of videos as well as on the current studio branding. Some designs have an "S" or fully spell out the studio name, but they are just different ideas of what could be possible for the design!
The idea of these designs is the idea of nostalgia as well as history/ past relationships bringing us all together. I know that a lot of people featured on the channel and its accompanying channels feature people that Joe has known since childhood, or has really close relationships with. This idea of nostalgia makes people feel at home and comfortable and I think that the channel itself wants to bring people in, make them comfortable, and let them be a part of the friend group to make memories with! I went with this old-school TV too because I know Joe's prime childhood years were in the 1990s, so it's a little nod to him as well.

Merch designs:

1. the first design would be for the almighty, all impactful, "Santagato Slam Poetry" video.
The design would feature an illustrated ornate hand mirror with a small crack in the glass. There would be an arm holding the mirror that would resemble Frankie's (or Francisco's) arm and hand. There would be text above it that says "The mirror... Thin" based on the incredible ending line of his poem.

2. The second design is based on the "Joe Santagato Reacts To Cringe TikToks Pt. 2" video. In the video, they feature a Tik Tok made by Joe of him wearing the tiger king shirt. My idea for the merch would be an illustrated version of Joe from that Tik Tok with bold, simple lettering above it that says "Cringe."

3. The third design is based on the "Playing Drunk Pictionary" video. In it, Antonio is playing his round and is attempting to draw "gravity" with inverted goggles on. For the merch design, I would redraw his drawing from the game with the simple words "gravity" above it.

For all three of these merch ideas, I'd also love to include the logo and/or the spelled out name for Santagato Studios somewhere on the merch as well. (either on the sleeve, the back by the neck, or just below the designs.
